I happened upon this toy line really be accident. I was waiting for my film a the local Rite-Aid and was perusing the toy aisle. I would have missed it if I blinked, but I happened to be checking something out on the lower shelf. There, buried underneath some other toys was some Adventure Man toys in different outfits. So, I decided to check and see if they had some kind of APA character. Sure enough, I found this guy with a yin yang symbol on his chest and looking like he could be APA. I bought him (a low $1.50) and did some research on the Internet. Interestingly enough (but not surprising), there is little to no information about this toy line or the company that released it (MAGIC Co.). I did find one Web site entitled Adventure Man by MAGIC Co. (tm) that is baffled as I am. So, if you have any information about this line, please drop me a line at loren@javier.com

Adventure Man (in Karate Gear) Adventure Man ????, MAGIC Co. Individual Figure I'm calling this Karate Gear, but it could very well be Ninja Gear or some other martial arts. The truth is that this character has no name or really any other information. The Web site that I found information on the Adventure toy line says that Adventure Man has "the articulation of the Ninja Force Snake Eyes (tm) by Hasbro Inc" It's actually not that bad looking, either. I have to admit that he's just as good looking, if not better, than the popular The CORPS! action figures put out by Lanard (sorry, The CORPS! fans). And, he's got a variety of accessories, including some nice looking weapons -- a sword, a gun, a Japanese scythe and a bow and arrows. He also has some kind of strange back pack and harness.
