Who would have thought that a movie about too dopey fellows who travel through time in a phone booth to snatch historical figures so they can pass their history class would be a cult classic? Who would have thought that it would also launch the career of a little known actor at the time -- Keanu Reeves. But, it's true. And, I have to say, as much as I'd like to hate this film...it has a certain charm to it. And, strangely enough, I even liked Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (the sequel). One cannot help love the adventures of Ted Theodore Logan and his partner Bill S.Preston ESQ.
Anyway, the reason why this movie has made the APA Toy Chest is because of the not really well known fact that Keanu (who played Ted) is indeed Asian Pacific American. According to KeanuNet, Keanu Reeves was born "to Samuel Nowlin Reeves (half-Hawaiian, half-Chinese) and Patric Taylor (English)...Keanu (Key-ah-nu) means 'cool breeze overthe mountains' in Hawaiian."

Ted "Theodore" Logan Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure action figure line 1991, Kenner Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Individual Figure A very simple action figure, Ted comes dressed in white shirt, vest and yellow shorts. He is posed in guitar playing stance and comes with removable guitar. If you press his legs together, his arm strums the guitar. Not the greatest figure, but a classic 80s toy.
