Dragon Models is a toy company from Hong Kong who have created perhaps the most intricate 12' figures on the market. They really do invest the time and the money into these figures and put other 12" figures such as G.I. Joe and the Ultimate Soldier to shame (and those figures are not half bad themselves). It's amazing how life like these figures are, with 30 points of articulation. No wonder they're called "New Generation Life Action Figures." The detail, from face sculpting down to the stich of clothing, is beautiful. I included these figures, eventhough they're imports, because they have become so interwoven in the 12" figure collecting circuit here in the United States. I'm quite new to learning about these figures. So, if you have anything you'd like to share, I always love hearing from people.

Detective Chow New Generation Life Action Figures 2000, Dragon Models Individual Figure Detective Chow of the NYPD's Asian Organised Crime Task Force is quite a nice figure. I've been told that he's not even one of the best. But, I think he's really cool. He comes with an automatic pistol, holster, belt, handcuffs, walkie talkie and raid jacket. His jeans are even made of real denim. Now, I'm not sure if he's based on any particular movie or TV character...so, if anybody knows, please let me know at loren@javier.com.
