Masters of the Universe

Masters of the Universe, or He-Man (as it is more popularly known), was one of the most popular action figure lines of the 1980s. Where the Micronauts and Star Wars introduced the 3 3/4" action figure standard, Masters of the Universe introduced the standard barrel chested, small legged figures. The series revolved around the central hero Prince Adam who could summon the "Power of Grayskull" and become the stong and powerful He-Man. He-Man, with the help of his heroic friends, was charged in defending the mythical castle Grayskull and the planet Eternia from the evil forces of Skeletor and his evil henchmen. For more information on Masters of the Universe, I highly recommend going to He-Man.Org, a really definitive guide to this favorite series.

Of course, the Masters of the Universe had a few Asian characters...they were both evil, but they were included. This is what I have:

Jitsu Jitsu
Series 3
1984, Mattel
Individual Figure

Jistu is billed as the "Evil Master of Martial Arts." While I had this figure in its original run, I actually gave many of my toys to the Philippines with Jitsu along with it. So, I managed to pick him up for a couple of bucks on Yahoo! Auctions. He's obviously modeled after a samuari and came with a samurai sword (although, my figure doesn't have one). He has a massive gold plated hand that does a karate chop through his spring loaded arm.
